On Griffith's Valuation for 1847-64, there are two William Raffertys leasing houses in Reskatirrif from Joseph Goff, the same Joseph Goff who also leased house & land to James Duncan in Riskatirrif.Rev'd Raymond Ferguson of Aughnacloy informed me that on the 5th February, 1852, a William Lemon married a Catherine Rafferty of (Cresburgh?) at Carnteel Parish Church, William Rafferty (Raverty) was one of the witnesses.[JDB]
