Extract from The Scull Family History by Carlisle Scull:Among the citizens of Bredenbury in the twenties were Mr & Mrs Tom Scull and family. Tom emigrated in 1912 from London to work for his uncle. Late. He accepted a position with the Northern Elevator Company as a buyer at Clonmel, Saskatchewan. About 1919 he was transferred by this company to Bredenbury. He also operated the Imperial Bulk Oil plant there.Mrs. Annie Scull was born in the Kinbrae District where her parents, Mr and Mrs Henry Brears were pioneer farmers. This is where she and her sister Winnifred (Mrs H Sharon) received their elementary education. Later, they both became school teachers. Annie, while teaching in Saltcoats met and married Tom Scull, musician.He played the organ and conducted the choir in the United Church in Bredenbury. He was also a member of the Charle Briggs and Homer Barker orchestra.Tom and Annie were both interested and active in amateur dramatics and this assisted in the financing for the church.Tom and Annie had four children; Carlysle of North Vancouver; Keith, deceased in infancy; Veryll (Mrs Gordon Stroud) of North Vancouver and Eileen (Mrs J Mullock) of Copper Cliff, Ontario.

Extract from The Scull Family History by Carlisle Scull:Tom and Annie Scull were both interested and active in amateur dramatics and this assisted in the financing of the church.Following her husband Tom's death in 1930, Annie received an appointment in the fall of 1930 to the Bredenbury School Staff, which position she held for 18 years. After leaving Bredenbury in 1948 she taught for some time at Eston, Saskatchewan; then retired and moved to North Vancouver where she resided in a senior citzen's home.
