After the death of his first wife Ann Amelia Turr, William married his late wife's sister, Mary Jane Turr.[JDB]From: Memory Lane a local history of Bredenbury and Districts by the Bredenbury Senior Citizens 1978 Wm. GOLLAND - Wm. Golland and his wife Mary Jane with their two sons Cecil and Harry, arrived in Canada from England in 1902. They homesteaded in the Clumber District and lived there until they passed away in 1938 and 1941.Their son Harry died when he was seventeen years of age, and Cecil died in 1942.Mr. & Mrs. Golland left two sons, Gervas and George, and a daughter Ida from his first marriage, behind them in England when they emigrated.Ida (Mrs. Herbert Needham) later came to Canada with her husband and small daughter Elsie.
